Day 1: New Year's Day

By happy circumstance, the brothers happened to be together for the start of their paper-plane making adventures. In the detritus of a first birthday, under the amused and benevolent gaze of their parents, they cracked the box of their paper and gazed on the instructions. And pretty paper.

One was made fairly quickly, the other... struggled somewhat with the initial instructions. Eventually both were ready for flight testing.

Neither managed to go very far. This could have been the result of numerous problems: drafts from the air conditioning, faulty construction, lack of practise... suffice it to be said that on Day 1, the boys are tied at Hopeless.
